How to Receive a Fax

When a fax is sent to one of our fax numbers, the fax is directed to a specific mailbox which is accessible by certain staff in each respective department or building. Please see table below for campus fax numbers. Each of these users will have access to a "zzFAX" mailbox. The email can then be forwarded to you.

How to Send a Fax

Sending a File as a Fax

A file may be attached to an email and sent.  If the file is not already digital, scan it from a copier to your SSA email.  Once you get the email, save the file to your computer.

Open a new mail message in Outlook.  In the To: field, you will need to format the recipient's fax number as an email address formatted as [10DigitPhoneNumber]@fax2mail.com, e.g. [email protected].  Type a subject in the Subject line.  Attach the file you want and any text you want in the email message.  When finished, click Send.

Please note that you will not have access to confirmation pages for faxes sent directly from the copiers. If you need a confirmation page, please contact the IT Helpdesk to have the confirmation page forwarded to you.
