New Magnus Health Mobile App - Quick Start Guide
This guide will provide you with a quick set of instructions on how to get the new app up and running on your mobile device.
You can transition to our new app at your convenience. You can even download the new app to trial it while keeping your existing Magnus Mobile V2 (legacy) app, and then fully transition to the new Magnus Health app when you’re ready. You will still have access to your old app through the end of the 2021-22 school year.
Getting started with the new Magnus Health app is easy. Here are instructions for logging in, creating multiple accounts, performing some common activities.
Logging In -- if you already know your Mobile App credentials, or have them stored manually in your mobile device
- Search the App Store or Google Play store for the new app. Find the app named Magnus Health (circled in red below) and download it onto your mobile device.

2. Open the Magnus Health app and enter your mobile app username and password for your desired account:

- If you use the existing Magnus Mobile v2 app and have saved your password to your mobile device, the new app will pull up the information when you log in.
- Note: if the system does not recognize your username or password, please follow the instructions below under “If you don’t know your mobile app credentials.”

- The first time you log in, you will be asked if you want to save your credentials and if you want to use either Face ID or Touch ID (depending on your device). These prompts will be asked only the first time you log in. *You must click 'yes' if you wish to use the 'switch account' feature.

Logging in -- if you don’t know your mobile app credentials
If you don’t know your mobile app credentials, you need to update them from the Magnus Portal on your desktop/laptop. Here are instructions depending on whether you log into your Magnus Portal directly or via your school’s website:
Logging into the Magnus Portal directly
- Navigate to the Magnus Portal.
- Select “Having trouble logging in?”
- Follow instructions to update your Username and/or Password.
- Your new credentials can be used to access the Magnus Mobile Apps and the Magnus Portal on your desktop/laptop.
- On your mobile device, download the new mobile app that is named "Magnus Health" from the Apple Store or the Google Play store.
- Log into the new Magnus Health mobile app from your phone using your newly created username & password. The first time you log in, you will be asked if you want to save your credentials and if you want to use either Face ID or Touch ID (depending on your device).*You must click 'yes' if you wish to use the 'switch account' feature.
Logging into the Magnus Portal through your school’s website
- Navigate to the Magnus Portal Login button from your school’s website.
- When you are logged into Magnus, hover over your name in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Choose "Change Credentials."
- Create a Username & Password that only you know and will remember. These will be the credentials that you will use for the mobile app login only. This will not change how you access the Magnus Portal through your school’s website.
- On your mobile device, download the new mobile app that is named "Magnus Health" from the Apple Store or the Google Play store.
- Log into the new Magnus Health mobile app from your phone using your new username & password.
If you have additional Usernames (for example, if you are both a parent and school user), you can create additional accounts on the app:
- Click on the Accounts icon on the bottom of the screen, and then click on the link called Add Existing Account.
- Adding the new account will bring you back to the login screen where you can log in with your second user account.
- You will again be prompted to save your credentials for this new account, but as with your initial account you will only be asked this when you log in for the first time.
- Going forward, to switch between the accounts just click on the Account icon on the bottom of the screen. From the My Account screen select the username you want.
Performing Common Activities
Everything from daily assessments to uploading documents to accessing the student information you need is easy with the new Magnus Health mobile app.
Here are steps to perform some common activities:
Completing Requirements/Forms
- Select the Student icon at the bottom of the screen. Then select the student’s name and click on Forms.
- Open the form that you want to upload a document into and then select Upload Files, Images or Photos.
- Select the option you want to use -- Take Photo or Video, Photo Library or Browse files. Attach the document, and then Submit.
- Select the Student icon at the bottom of the screen and click on the student’s name.
- Select the desired section (for example, insurance information or allergies).
